Abstract | PDF (Tiếng Việt)
Education in traditional feudal society in Vietnam combines two forms: folk education and government-state education from the fact that a survey of documents of village regulation Chinese characters in 17th - 18th centuries of Vietnam shows that education is very focused in the village. The village was given a lot of favor and created all conditions for all children to study and achieve. Those achievers are not only honored by the villagers in the place of office but also considered a source of glory for the family and the homeland. The article's research results provide a comprehensive view of the learning promotion activities of Vietnamese villages at an eventful period in the country's history, having trained the famous Confucian masters and save history books. These study promotion activities help contemporary people to have a basis for “study the past and thinking the present” the village's position, role, and educational methods for the “education and training of people” in the 4.0 era.

Abstract | PDF (Tiếng Việt)
We use density functional theory based on tight-binding (DFTB) to study the electronic structure of penta-silicene nanoribbons with different bandwidths. The penta-silicene series created by cutting from the penta-silicene film after relaxing, we obtain four types of edges: sawtooth (SS), zigzag - zigzag (ZZ), armchair - armchair (AA), zigzag - armchair (ZA). However, penta–silicene is not stable. The kinetic stability of penta-silicene is restored by hydrogen bonding to the surface. The results of the boundary energy calculations showed that forming a penta-silicene series from the 2D film is potential. In addition, the binding energy calculation shows that the SS boundary form has the most stable structure. The electronic structure of penta-silicene was checked and found that all boundary forms have band gaps, and as the band-width increases, the band gap decreases.

Nguyen Thai Anh, Pham Thanh Duoc, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tuyet
Abstract | PDF (Tiếng Việt)
This paper considers a nonconvex set optimization problem and discusses connectedness conditions for its weakly efficient solution set. Firstly, various concepts of connectedness for a set-valued map are proposed. Secondly, sufficient conditions for the connectedness of an extension of the oriented distance of Hiriart-Urruty are formulated. Finally, the connectedness properties of a weakly efficient solution set to such  problem are investigated via the extension of the oriented distance of Hiriart-Urruty.

Le Van Nhuong, Nguyen Thanh Tuong
Abstract | PDF (Tiếng Việt)
The article used a combination of document synthesis and survey methods. The results of a survey of 3.069 students conducted in January 2023 showed that the rate of students' delay in learning compared to the training curriculum of Can Tho University in 2022 is 18.3%, in which many faculties have this rate above 20%. From the perspective of academic disciplines, the rate of delay in graduation of some majors in the engineering, agriculture, and rural development groups is very high (over 50%). There are many factors affecting the graduation progress of CTU students, four groups including individual, school, family and groups, and social. Each group of factors will have different effects on each student, in which school and social factors have the most influence. Considering each factor, the most influential factors are the difficulty of registering for courses, choosing inappropriate learning methods, not being fully equipped with soft skills, and financial worries. The most basic measure is the coordination from many stakeholders to support students, especially emphasizing the role of the school through the academic advisor team and mass organizations at Can Tho University.
