Abstract

This study develops an extended SEIR model using delay differential equations (DDEs), incorporating time delay τ and control functions u(t), v(t) to describe rumor dynamics on social media accurately. The model was calibrated and validated with Google Trends data from the “Lang Son Case” rumor, achieving R2 > 0.95. Results confirm an information “incubation” phase and a critical early-intervention “golden window.” A 2-day intervention delay doubles the rumor’s final scale and extends its duration by one week. Sensitivity analysis identifies the transmission rate β as the key parameter, emphasizing the importance of digital literacy. The study proposes the “R-Shield” three-layer defense system (Technical-Administrative-Awareness) and the “12-hour golden protocol” to effectively minimize the damage caused by rumors on Vietnamese social media.

Tóm tắt

Nghiên cứu được thực hiện với mục đích xây dựng mô hình SEIR mở rộng dùng phương trình vi phân trễ (DDEs), tích hợp độ trễ τ và hàm kiểm soát u(t), v(t) để mô tả chính xác động lực lan truyền tin đồn xã hội. Mô hình được hiệu chỉnh, kiểm định bằng dữ liệu Google Trends vụ “Vụ án Lạng Sơn”, đạt R2 > 0,95. Kết quả xác nhận tồn tại giai đoạn “ủ bệnh” thông tin và “cửa sổ vàng” can thiệp sớm. Việc chậm can thiệp 2 ngày khiến quy mô tin đồn tăng gấp đôi, kéo dài thêm 1 tuần. Kết quả phân tích nhạy cảm cho thấy β là tham số quyết định, nhấn mạnh vai trò giáo dục kỹ năng số. Nghiên cứu đề xuất hệ thống “R-Shield” ba lớp (kỹ thuật - hành chính - nhận thức) và quy trình “12 giờ vàng” để giảm thiểu tối đa thiệt hại tin đồn trên mạng xã hội Việt Nam.
