Thuan - from diaspora writer to a model of international writer
Abstract
Based on the analysis of the creative language of diaspora writers (including postcolonial writers) in the construction of an international writer from the perspective of diaspora theory, postcolonial theory, and world literature theory, the article examines the case of Thuan, a Vietnamese writer residing in France, as a model of an international writer. To clarify that, the article will develop three arguments: Thuan’s initiative in choosing creative language, Thuan’s initiative in choosing themes, and Thuan’s initiative in selecting forms of expression.
