Khả năng sinh trưởng và đáp ứng miễn dịch của chim trĩ đỏ đối với vaccine phòng bệnh cúm gia cầm H5N2
Abstract
The study was conducted to study growth performance and determine the proportion of ring-necked pheasants (Phasianus colchicus) that achieved protective immunity after Nobilis® Influenza H5N2 vaccination. Eighty pheasants of one day of age were randomly assigned to two treatments. Each treatment consisted of four experimental units. Birds in the control treatment (T1) were not injected with the H5N2 vaccine, whereas those in the vaccinated treatment (T2) were vaccinated at 16 and 31 days of age. Serum samples of pheasants were collected at 30, 45, and 59 days of age. The HI assay tested the antibodies. The results showed that antibodies against avian viruses were not detected in pheasants from treatment T1. In contrast, pheasants in treatment T2 achieved flock-level protection at 30, 45, and 59 days of age, with GMT 47.2, 54.9, and 74.5, respectively. Furthermore, H5N2 avian influenza vaccination did not affect feed intake, body weight gain, or feed conversion ratio (FCR) in pheasants.
