Abstract
This study investigates the current state and proposes solutions to enhance the production and the quality management of Khmer-language performing arts programs on VTV5 Southwest – a specialized television genre that plays a vital role in preserving ethnic cultural identity. Employing an interdisciplinary approach that integrates sociological surveys, in-depth interviews, field observations, and content analysis, the research examines the organization of production, approval mechanisms, and audience expectations. Findings reveal significant challenges in human resources, production equipment, professional standards, and community engagement. Based on these insights, the paper recommends four strategic directions: developing a successor workforce, investing in localized media technologies, strengthening community participation, and refining specialized quality management systems. The study affirms the essential role of ethnic minority media in the era of digital transformation and multiplatform communication.

Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm khảo sát thực trạng và đề xuất giải pháp nâng cao chất lượng tổ chức sản xuất và quản lý chương trình văn nghệ tiếng Khmer trên kênh VTV5 Tây Nam Bộ – một loại hình truyền hình chuyên biệt đóng vai trò gìn giữ bản sắc văn hóa dân tộc. Bằng phương pháp tiếp cận liên ngành, kết hợp khảo sát xã hội học, phỏng vấn sâu, quan sát thực địa và phân tích nội dung, kết quả nghiên cứu đã làm rõ đặc điểm tổ chức sản xuất, cơ chế thẩm duyệt và mức độ đáp ứng kỳ vọng của công chúng Khmer. Kết quả cho thấy tồn tại nhiều thách thức về nhân sự, thiết bị, quy chuẩn chuyên môn và tính tương tác với cộng đồng. Trên cơ sở đó, bốn nhóm giải pháp được đề xuất trong bài viết gồm: phát triển nhân lực kế thừa, đầu tư công nghệ sản xuất, tăng cường gắn kết cộng đồng và hoàn thiện hệ thống quản lý chuyên biệt. Nghiên cứu góp phần củng cố vai trò của truyền thông dân tộc thiểu số trong bối cảnh chuyển đổi số và đa nền tảng truyền thông hiện nay.
