Abstract

An electrical current system including four-electrode probes connecting with a Humusoft card and a computer has been made in Can ThoUniversity,Vietnamfor measuring electrical conductivity (EC) of the salinity solution flowing through a horizontal sand column. The system is low cost, compact and reliable for developing countries asVietnam. The experimental results with potassium chlorite solution show that there are linear relations between the calibrated EC measured by four-electrode probes and EC measured by a benchtop EC-meter.
