Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of factors on the competitiveness of seafood exporting enterprises in the Mekong Delta. Data used in the study was collected from 155 enterprises via convenient sampling methods. The results from Cronbach’s Alpha, EFA, and linear regression analyses show that there are four groups of factors affecting the competitiveness of seafood enterprises including source of material, human resources, characteristics and capabilities of enterprises, and ethics and social responsibilities association of businesses. Based on the results, four administrative implications were proposed to improve the competitiveness of seafood exporters in the Mekong Delta.

Tóm tắt

Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu là phân tích mức độ ảnh hưởng của các nhân tố đến năng lực cạnh tranh của các doanh nghiệp xuất khẩu thủy hải sản vùng Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long. Dữ liệu sử dụng trong nghiên cứu được thu thập từ 155 doanh nghiệp bằng phương pháp chọn mẫu thuận tiện. Kết quả của kiểm định thang đo Cronbach’s Alpha, phân tích nhân tố khám phá EFA và phân tích hồi qui tuyến tính cho thấy có bốn nhóm nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến năng lực cạnh tranh của các doanh nghiệp thủy hải sản trong vùng là: nguồn nguyên liệu, nguồn nhân lực, đặc điểm và khả năng của doanh nghiệp và đạo đức và trách nhiệm xã hội của doanh nghiệp. Kết quả phân tích của nghiên cứu là căn cứ đề xuất bốn hàm ý quản trị góp phần hoàn thiện năng lực cạnh tranh của các doanh nghiệp hải sản ở Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long.
