Abstract

Domestic rabbits at Can Tho City andSocTrangProvincewere infected the coccidiosis at the rate of 65.16%. The infection rate on rabbits in Can Tho City (69.50%) was higher than that ofSocTrangProvince(58.47%). Domestic rabbits of all ages were infected oocysts at high rate with the prevalence of infection on 1-2 months of age (100%), 2-3 months of age (94.37%), 3-4 months of age (58.9%). The prevalence of infection was decreased according to the age and the lowest infection rate at 24-month rabbits (28.57%). There are five species of Eimeria have been found in domestic rabbits including E.perforans, E. media, E.magna, E.stiedae and E.irressidua.The symptoms of coccidiosis-infected domestic rabbits are rough coat, loss of weight and diarrhea. Regecoccin and Anticoc showed their positive effects in the treatment of coccidiosis in rabbits with 1 gram of Regecoccin per 15 kilos body weight for five days or 20 grams of Anticoc per 15 kilos body weight for five days.

Thỏ nhiễm cầu trùng với tỷ lệ nhiễm chung cao (65,16%), trong đó thỏ nuôi tại TP Cần Thơ nhiễm cầu trùng có tỷ lệ nhiễm (69,50%), cao hơn thỏ nuôi tại Sóc Trăng (58,47%). Tất cả mọi lứa tuổi thỏ đều nhiễm nõan nang cầu trùng. Trong đó thỏ nhiễm cầu trùng với tỷ lệ nhiễm và cường độ nhiễm cao chủ yếu xảy ra ở thỏ từ 1-2 tháng tuổi (100%) và 2-3 tháng tuổi (94,37%), tỷ lệ nhiễm và cường độ nhiễm giảm dần theo lứa tuổi và thấp nhất ở thỏ 24 tháng tuổi(28,57%). Có 5 loài noãn nang cầu trùng phổ biến ký sinh trên thỏ là Eimeria perforans, Eimeria media, Eimeria magna, Eimeria stiedae và Eimeria irressidua. Thỏ nhiễm cầu trùng thể hiện triệu chứng như gầy ốm, xù lông, tiêu chảy và tăng trọng kém. Thuốc Regecoccin liều 1g/15kg P, liệu trình 5 ngày liên tục  và Anticoc liều 20g/15kg P, liệu trình 5 ngày liên tục cho hiệu quả điều trị cao.
