Abstract

Market risk is one of five risk categories in which households have faced. Especially, the context of agricultural markets increasingly demand and be competitive situation fiercely. This study aims to describe the panorama of the market risk that households have confronted, and assess the impact level of market risk on the efficiency of household production at once. Through the survey 503 households in the Mekong Delta, the study showed that most of the farm households are affected by market risk. In particular, output price risk is the risk of agricultural products in which are the top concerns of households. Results Multivariate Regression Analysis also showed that the number of market risk was inversely correlated to production efficiency.

Tóm tắt

Rủi ro thị trường là một trong năm loại rủi ro mà nông hộ luôn phải đối mặt. Đặc biệt trong bối cảnh thị trường nông sản ngày càng khắt khe và tình hình cạnh tranh ngày càng khóc liệt. Nghiên cứu này nhằm mô tả bức tranh toàn cảnh về những rủi ro thị trường mà nông hộ gặp phải, đồng thời đánh giá mức độ tác động của rủi ro thị trường đến hiệu quả sản xuất của nông hộ. Thông qua kết quả khảo sát 503 nông hộ ở khu vực Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, nghiên cứu đã cho thấy hầu hết các nông hộ sản xuất nông nghiệp đều chịu ảnh hưởng bởi rủi ro thị trường. Trong đó, rủi ro về giá đầu ra nông sản luôn là mối nguy ngại hàng đầu của nông hộ. Kết quả phân tích hồi quy đa biến còn cho thấy số lần rủi ro thị trường tương quan nghịch đến hiệu quả sản xuất.
